"We are delighted to expand Lionsgate's longstanding relationship with Roadshow Films to encompass our full slate of Lionsgate films," said Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Co-Chairs Patrick Wachsberger and Rob Friedman. "We're thrilled to extend and expand our relationship with Patrick, Rob and the entire Lionsgate team," said Joel Pearlman, Managing Director of Roadshow Films. "This output agreement provides us with a consistent pipeline of some of the most commercially exciting films in the world, including the next three films in the blockbuster HUNGER GAMES franchise, from a studio that has emerged as a major force in the global marketplace, and it marks an important addition to the portfolio of product we bring to our audiences."

Roadshow Films spearheaded the launch of the first HUNGER GAMES film in Australia, generating more than $31 million at the Australian box office, one of the best-performing territories in the international marketplace. ?Lionsgate and Village Roadshow also partnered to achieve strong performances with the recent Australian releases of Lionsgate's WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU'RE EXPECTING and SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN.

The deal was orchestrated by Wachsberger, Lionsgate International President Helen Lee Kim and Michael Meyer, Executive Vice President of International Business and Legal Affairs.

The agreement complements Summit Entertainment's continuing output deal with E1 Entertainment. Summit was acquired by Lionsgate in January 2012 but the Lionsgate and Summit labels remain separate.
