Former Reliant president to lead Tulsa energy company

Jason Few, former Reliant president, has taken a job at Seminole Energy in Tulsa, Okla.

Former president of Reliant Energy in Houston, Jason Few, was named on Jan. 14 as president and CEO of Seminole Energy in Tulsa, Okla.

The position was effective the same day, according to a statement from Seminole, as was the departure of the company?s former president and CEO Robert Rosene Jr., who retired.

Few said he?s looking forward to becoming an integral part of the Tulsa company and in its community around the nation.

?Seminole is a strong company with a great reputation,? he said.

Few left Reliant on Oct. 19 to pursue other opportunities.

He had joined Reliant in 2008 and worked as president from 2009 through his departure in October 2012. John Ragan has since been named president of NRG Energy?s Gulf Coast region, which is owned by Reliant.

Seminole is a natural gas company and markets services to producers, end users and wholesale trading partners throughout the central and southwestern United States. The company has a total customer base of more than 90,000 customers with average daily sales of 1.1 billion cubic feet.
